Yesterday I took a walk to the beach. I was in the mood for some alone time with the day and a leisurely walk. I am in the midst of a move and although I should of been buried indoors and packing, I succumbed to the calls of the gorgeous outdoors and walked to the beach.
I am so lucky to have grown up with the beach in my backyard, but I feel even more lucky to have the knowledge and ability to step back and know how lucky I really am. Every now and then there is a time where we have “moments” and as my college girlfriends and I would say, during these “moments” we are “overwhelmed with a sense of happiness”.
